The partnership means that individuals at Shipley Living will be provided top-quality care and rehab.

Great things are bound to happen when you bring together strong leaders with specific expertise to collaborate. Such is the case for Shipley Living and Foulk Living in Wilmington, and Millcroft Living in Newark. The three Delaware-based senior living communities are managed by Life Care Services®, An LCS® Company, and have entered into a partnership with HealthPRO Heritage.

A leader in the industry, LCS has more than 50 years of experience managing senior living communities across the country. HealthPRO Heritage is a prominent national provider of rehab and wellness services. The partnership means that individuals in the senior living communities will be provided top-quality care and rehab.

LCS became the management company of Foulk Living, Shipley Living and Millcroft Living late last year. The three rental communities offer on-site continuing care and rehab. David Mercugliano, Senior Vice President for Strategic Partnerships at HealthPRO Heritage, said the company was “requested to bid to support these locations. We are a preferred partner of LCS, and an opportunity was identified to bring more resources to the seniors that live in these locations. We have worked with LCS communities across the country for many years as trusted collaborators.”

On October 1st, HealthPRO Heritage began providing Foulk Living, Shipley Living and Millcroft Living communities with physical, occupational and speech therapy services. Additionally, Mercugliano said they will offer “resident health and wellness programming, fitness education and classes.”

“I am extremely excited about our partnership with HealthPRO Heritage. LCS could not have picked a better therapy group for our Delaware locations. LCS has experience in other states across the country with this partnership, and it is very successful. The programs, vision and mission of HealthPRO Heritage are congruent with those of LCS,” said Renee Goolday, Regional Healthcare Marketing and Sales Specialist for LCS, said.

She concluded, “The therapy one receives during their rehab stay is essential to their progress and overall outcomes. Together, LCS and HealthPRO Heritage will provide excellent skilled nursing care, and excellent therapy to ensure our seniors have the best care available. I am elated to see what the future holds for our three LCS communities in Delaware.”
